About 25 people attended the Candidate Forum last Thursday. Of them 23 handed in their opinion questionnaires. Based on the opinions of the attendees, Daniel Guerra was the favored. At least, 78% indicated he satisfactorily answered the questions which were asked, and 82% marked that they understood his reasoning. Daniel Rodriguez answered satisfactorily 62% of the time, and 69% understood his reasoning. Of course, in some instances, listeners thought Mr. Rodriguez communicated more effectively than Mr. Guerra. For instance, on question 6. "What improvements [hinted at in Referendum 3] and in what order would you propose these improvements be completed?"
Did the candidate answer the question satisfactorily?

Do you understand his reasoning?

DRAGONFLY THRIFT BOUTIQUE
I stopped in at the new store in South Miami.
What a beautiful place!
Not only is the exterior eye-catching - with a garden out back - but so is the way the inside space flows, is decorated,
and shows off the merchandise. I think it is worth a look and worth supporting. For more information click here and here.
MORE HELP NEEDED
Dr. Tina Carroll-Scott has been the director for the clinic since it opened in 2007. This year is the first time the clinic will participate in Give Miami Day. Dr. Scott writes: "Give Miami Day officially starts on November 21st but early donations begin on November 17th. I am humbly asking that you not only give personally to show your support of the work that we have done and continue to do but to spread the word to all of your contacts: Support South Miami Childrens Clinic Inc on Give Miami Day"
