I found out that (1) the engineering drawings of how the building will be built - which are necessary in order to get a building permit - will take 12 - 18 months, and (2) that from the time of ground-breaking until the time a grocery store could move back in, might be as short as a year. That is, if the concept is approved at the second reading. There is no guarantee that it will be Winn-Dixie, but since they were heavily involved in the design of the loading area, I am encouraged to believe that they will want to move into this new, enlarged space. And (3) most of the delivery trucks come before the peek morning rush hour - that is, before 7:00 am.
